HYPGOAT (pronounced as Hype-Goat) is an Indian streetwear brand established in 2024. For us, streetwear is more than clothing — it’s an attitude, a way to carry yourself, and a way to stand apart. Every drop we create is inspired by things we see and feel around us — art, music, culture, or even random details that catch our eye.
PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE NAME
The word “HYP” originates from the actual word “HYPE,” which refers to the buzz or excitement surrounding something — the fire that drives streetwear culture. On the other hand, “GOAT” stands for “Greatest of All Time,” the word today’s generation uses when something or someone is the best at what they do. We fused these two words and came up with our brand name, “HYPGOAT,” symbolizing the ultimate fusion of energy and excellence. It’s more than a brand name — it’s a statement of how we want to do things differently.
PURPOSE OF THE BRAND
Born from a passion for originality and creativity, we set out to create something truly unique and distinctive. Our goal is to break away from the ordinary and offer designs that are as original as the individuals who wear them. We want you to feel special in it — like what you’re wearing is yours, not just another tee from another label. Every collection is crafted with this thought in mind: break the ordinary, create something fresh.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
BORN IN 1999, UTKARSH KUMAR IS THE FOUNDER OF THE FASHION LABEL. When streetwear first began gaining momentum in India, he was already involved — deeply connected to the culture and passionate about it from the start. With time, that passion only grew stronger and eventually became the driving force behind building something unique of his own. Utkarsh believes fashion should be playful, experimental, and never ordinary. Through his brand, he wants to bring products to the world that don’t just look good but also make people feel special when they wear them — a sense of presence that sets them apart. Always curious and unafraid to try new ideas, he continues to push boundaries in the fashion industry and wants to do it in his style.
